The work is based on sketches made at Ratsek peak in Ala-Archa, Northern Tien Shan region, Kyrgyzstan. Semenov-Tian-Shan peak is depicted. The height of the mountain is 4985 m, and is the highest mountain in the Kyrgyz range.
